We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exhilarating opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our products, processes, and systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality engineering methodologies and systems, and will work closely with our production and engineering teams to enhance overall product performance and reliability. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing sector.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality engineering procedures and specifications, influencing product design and manufacturing processes to ensure high quality output.
2. Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
3. Conduct audits, create reports, and recommend improvements by collecting and analyzing quality data.
4. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
5. Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies.
7. Participate in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) in line with the organization's goals.
9. Collaborate with suppliers and customers to improve overall product quality and performance.
10. Provide training and support to the manufacturing team on new processes and standards related to quality engineering.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required.
4. Strong knowledge of quality engineering theories, principles, inspection techniques, tools, and equipment.
5. Proficient in statistical analysis and statistical quality control.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels of the organization.
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software applications.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
