We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant – PING/EDI to lead and support enterprise integration projects involving the full EDI Order-to-Cash lifecycle (850, 855, 856, 810) and Ping Identity’s IAM solutions.

This role bridges deep expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes with Identity and Access Management (IAM), supporting secure, scalable machine-to-machine (M2M) communication in complex, distributed systems.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure EDI integrations using Ping Identity tools, ensuring seamless authentication, data exchange, and compliance within enterprise ecosystems.

• Secure and seamless access: The Ping Identity platform is used to authenticate machine-to-machine traffic, in addition to human users accessing applications via web, API, and mobile.
• Part of a larger platform: For organizations, EDI authentication is part of a larger, unified identity solution. Ping can also be used for customer authentication and partner identity management.
• Machine-to-machine authentication: Ping Identity solutions authenticate not only human users but also machine-to-machine traffic, a key requirement for modern EDI workflows.
• Integration with broader identity ecosystem: As part of Ping's suite of IAM tools, EDI can be managed alongside other authentication methods, such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• AI-powered solutions: Some Ping solutions integrate AI and machine learning for enhanced security. For example, the DaVinci connector, a no-code orchestration engine, can be used for building custom identity workflows.
• Partner-assisted integration: Companies like Pingahla assist customers with complex integrations for EDI systems, using Ping's Identity Data Management Center (IDMC). A specific customer case demonstrated reduced maintenance overhead and improved scalability for new message types.
