Our government client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst/ Business Analyst on a hybrid 9+ months renewable contract role in Richmond, VA.

Position – Quality Assurance Analyst/ Business Analyst

Job description:
This position will perform Business Analysis, Requirements Definition, Documentation, Training Materials and Testing for the Oracle Financials, Cardinal, TPLRS, APEX and Oracle applications. This position also involves working with the Business Teams, IM development team, project managers, other members of the project team, and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities of Work Time:
15% - Meet with business users to understand and document project requirements
15% - Analyze impacts of proposed changes to existing record layouts and processes
50% - Develop test cases Participate in SIT testing
10%- Create documentation 
5% - Monitor and track UAT testing
5% - Assist with work request tracking and project status reporting
This position requires analytical skills, problem solving skills, ability to learn and understand a variety of business processes, strong writing skills, ability to communicate and collaborate with technical staff and business users.
Required/Desired Experience:

  • 5 years of Perform testing, write test cases and strong knowledge of testing processes. Required
  • 5 years of Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of requirements. Required
  • 5 years of Ability to determine that technical changes satisfy the business requirements. Required
  • 5 years of Proficiency in documenting requirements, defects, test cases, and validation results. Required
  • 5 years of Effective verbal and written communication. Required
  • 5 years of Ability to work with others as part of a team. Required
  • 5 years of Strong customer service skills. Required
  • 5 years of Possess SQL skills to query databases, perform data validation and troubleshoot data issues. Desired
  • 5 years of Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and relational databases. Desired
