Job Description:
The Lead Systems Information Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Microsoft 365 environments within a large corporate or government setting. This role requires hands-on expertise across the M365 platform, Power Platform development, .NET development, and SharePoint Administration. The ideal contractor will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud Suite in a large enterprise environment.
- Develop, customize, and manage solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI.
- Design and develop applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework) and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and streamline operations.
- Administer and support Exchange Online, Intune, Azure Active Directory, and the broader Azure ecosystem.
- Provide Microsoft 365 development and SharePoint Administration, including customization of SharePoint lists and integration with disparate systems via PowerApps.
- Manage user permissions, data retention strategies, and compliance configurations within the M365 environment.
- Utilize Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder to enhance solution capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the M365 cloud platform, including AvePoint Online Services.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business units to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 cloud solutions within a corporate or government environment.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).
- Strong .NET development background (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Skilled in PowerShell scripting.
- Solid understanding of Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD, and related Azure services.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 development and SharePoint Administration.
- Demonstrated ability to develop PowerApps models and customize SharePoint solutions.
- Knowledge of M365 user permissions, compliance, and data retention policies.
- Hands-on experience with Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire M365 platform and AvePoint Online Services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
