We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our healthcare team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting, handling both in-person and phone interactions. The role requires proficiency with insurance processes, patient check-in, and scheduling systems such aEpic.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office
- At least 1 year of recent call center experience
- Familiarity with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recent experience as a Patient Service Representative
- Experience with patient check-in processes
- Experience using Epic
