About the Role: We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Dallas team for a 6-month engagement focused on container orchestration and CI/CD pipeline management. You'll be working with cutting-edge DevOps technologies to streamline our development and deployment processes.
What You'll Do:
- Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning
- Monitor and optimize container performance and resource utilization
- Implement security best practices for containerized environments
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and management
- Proficiency in Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
- Experience with service mesh technologies
- Knowledge of security scanning and compliance tools
- Familiarity with GitOps practices
