Salesforce/MuleSoft Lead Developer or Architect

Location: 100% remote (must work EST time zone)

Required Skills: MuleSoft Dev or MuleSoft Arch or API Developer with Salesforce integration experience

  • MuleSoft will integrate with Salesforce and an internally built system called Max-E
  • Should have MuleSoft certifications

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce/MuleSoft Lead Developer and Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of enterprise-grade solutions across Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms. This role will drive technical strategy, ensure scalable architecture, and deliver high-quality implementations for complex programs in healthcare, government, and public sector domains.

Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Strategy
Design and document scalable, secure, and reusable architecture across Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms.
Define integration patterns, API strategies, and data flows between Salesforce and external systems.
Lead technical planning and solutioning sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Development & Integration
Develop custom Salesforce components (Apex, LWC, Flows) and configure standard features across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Build and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integrations using Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and RAML.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for both platforms.

Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as technical lead across development teams, providing mentorship and guidance.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and enforce best practices.

Governance & Compliance
Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA).
Maintain documentation, integration catalogs, and architecture diagrams.
Support audit readiness and data governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
4+ years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect).
MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or Architect.
Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and integration security.
Experience with healthcare, government, or public sector programs.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Salesforce Scheduler, Health Cloud, Service Cloud Voice.
Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado).
Experience with data migration, ETL tools, and Salesforce Shield.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
