Job Details

We are seeking a skilled JIRA Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring, maintaining, and supporting JIRA, as well as a deep understanding of Jira Automations and Agile methodologies. As a JIRA SME/Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and customizing JIRA workflows, schemes, custom fields, and plugins to meet the needs of various teams within the organization. You will also play a key role in providing technical support and guidance to users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the JIRA platform. Strong knowledge of Jira Automation is a must to have skill which you will be using to integrate various Jira Boards, Movement of Tasks, Auto-creation of tasks, etc. As a secondary skill, resource should have knowledge on JAMA Requirement Management Tool and mainly on JAMA Project setup & configuration, relationships between requirements, traceability, and review center.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security events and alerts related to product cybersecurity issues.
  • Develop and maintain security tools and scripts to automate incident response tasks (Python experience preferred).
  • Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) & Microsoft suite to manage product cybersecurity projects, document processes, and facilitate communication across teams.
  • Respond to product cybersecurity issues by conducting thorough investigations and coordinating remediations with stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization's product security measures.
  • Prepare and present security reports and metrics to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity core concepts encryption/decryption, secure boot, secure communications, secure storage, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of product security principles, including secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities in software products (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting) and how to mitigate them.
  • Proficiency in using the Atlassian suite, particularly Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation.
    SOFT SKILLS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to technical peers and management.
  • Strong technical competence in MS tool suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions.

Added Bonus:

  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, internet of things (IOT), and/or software industries.
  • OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or other related/equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with compliance regulations/laws, security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, HIPAA, ISO, COBIT, OWASP, ITIL, etc.).
  • Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions.
