What You'll Contribute

The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security technologies and infrastructure that protect the organization's information assets.

What You'll Do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the information security function, including security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and user access controls.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and other teams to implement and maintain security controls and processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests; coordinate remediation efforts
• Manage security incidents and breaches, including investigation, response, and remediation efforts.
• Maintain secure integrations between systems, applications, and cloud environments

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

• Solid understanding of information security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
• Familiarity with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in developing and implementing information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in onboarding new software solutions into Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint and/or other identity governance solutions
• Familiarity with SCIM protocols, APIs, and web services
• Experience conducting certification access reviews and supporting compliance initiatives

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
• 5 years of experience in information security, with demonstrated experience in managing security operations and projects.
