Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Oversee the design and production of 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks for structural steel platforms, towers, stairs, skids, and foundations.
+ Review and interpret customer specifications, integrating design requirements into comprehensive engineering plans.
+ Lead a team of designers and engineers, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to company and industry standards.
+ Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and cross-discipline teams to align project objectives.
+ Manage detailed project scopes, schedules, and documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes, including AISC, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and AASHTO.
+ Utilize advanced software such as RISA 3D, SolidWorks Simulation, tnxTower, Helicap, Lpile, and Mathcad to validate designs and optimize performance.

Qualifications -

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
+ 5+ years of experience in detailed structural design, preferably in steel structures.
+ Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (required).
+ Texas PE License required; multi-state licensure preferred.
+ In-depth knowledge of U.S. engineering codes, standards, and project management best practices.
+ Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
+ Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
