Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional Healthcare IT projects.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including scope, timeline, budget, quality, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate collaboration between business units, IT teams, and clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, dashboards, and status reports.
- Utilize both Agile and Waterfall (SDLC) methodologies in a hybrid framework, depending on project needs.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project governance, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and health regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. PMP, CSM, PgMP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive project/program management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years managing Healthcare IT projects, ideally within hospitals, clinics, or public health systems.
- Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-level IT initiatives in clinical environments.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Deep understanding of project management disciplines-risk, scope, change, test, and financial management.
- Strong working knowledge of PPM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Clarity, Planview, Smartsheet).
- Hands-on experience with Cerner and familiarity with various clinical applications.
