Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with expertise in Elasticsearch to design, deploy, optimize, and maintain our enterprise search and data analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine architectures, data ingestion, and content management systems, ensuring our search solutions are scalable, reliable, and performant to support business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for data indexing, sharding, replication, and data lifecycle management.
  • Monitor cluster health, perform capacity planning, and optimize search and query performance.
  • Manage Elasticsearch security features, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and audit logging.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cluster issues, including node failures, data corruption, or network partitions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 5+ years experience working with Elasticsearch
  • Hands-on experience with deploying, scaling, and tuning Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Strong understanding of search engine architecture, information retrieval, and relevance tuning.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
