We are on the hunt for a dynamic and talented NOC Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. This role combines the technical expertise of a network engineer with the strategic vision of a consultant, making it an ideal fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving and conceptualizing complex network solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network operations center (NOC) and providing high-level technical support to our clients. This role demands a deep understanding of network infrastructure, server administration, and solutions architecture. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our NOC, ensuring maximum uptime and optimal performance.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to our clients, resolving complex network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Design, implement, and manage network solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance and data input/output reports to detect problems, identify inefficient use of computer resources, or perform capacity planning.
  • Work closely with our IT team to deploy and integrate new technologies into our NOC.
  • Manage our server infrastructure, including GPO management, firewall configurations, and network printer setup.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, VoIP, POTS, PSTN, and PBX.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a network engineering or NOC role.
  • Proficient in basic networking, Windows 10, and server administration.
  • Familiarity with network printers, integrations, and solutions architecture.
  • Experience with desktop deployment and GPO management.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking, firewall configurations, Cisco routers, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, VoIP, POTS, PSTN, and PBX.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about network solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends.
