About the Role:
My client is seeking a Data & Automation Engineer to support reporting, analytics, and process automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role designed for a technically strong professional eager to grow into senior responsibilities. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop Power BI dashboards, automate workflows, and integrate data from multiple platforms to improve efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making.

Details:



  • Full-Time, Permanent Position

  • Compensation: $90k - $150k + Benefits

  • Hybrid (3 Days On-Site p/week) - Carrollton, TX



Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.

  • Extract, transform, and integrate data from Salesforce, ERP systems (such as Epicor), and other platforms.

  • Develop and manage automation workflows using Power Automate (approvals, data sync, notifications, repetitive tasks, etc.).

  • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and deliver actionable reporting and automation solutions.

  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting and automation efforts.

  • Create clear documentation and training materials for end-users.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or automation engineering roles.

  • Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization design).

  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate or similar RPA tools.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce data structures and ERP systems.

  • Strong SQL querying and data manipulation skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with ETL tools or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).

  • Knowledge of data governance and security practices.

  • Certifications in Power BI, Power Automate, or Salesforce (preferred but not required).
