Project Lead

Luna Data Solutions, Inc. is seeking a talented and organized Senior Project Lead to support our client in Austin, TX. NOTE: CANDIDATES MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE WITHIN THE AUSTIN, TEXAS METROPOLITAN AREA, TO BE CONSIDERED.

Description of Duties:

In this role, you'll coordinate and support the full lifecycle of IT projects from planning and execution to testing and training. You ll work alongside project managers and cross-functional teams to keep projects on track and ensure deliverables meet expectations. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating day-to-day project tasks and timelines
• Supporting project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities
• Collaborating with teams to execute testing, communications, and training
• Facilitating meetings, documenting decisions, and tracking action items
• Providing timely status updates and supporting data analysis for project performance
• Maintaining clear and organized project documentation

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in project coordination or management, with expertise in the following:
• Supporting Project Managers with technical tasks and updates
• Monitoring project progress and organizing logistics
• Delivering accurate and detailed updates to stakeholders
• Coordinating special projects and ensuring timely completion
• Planning and supporting training and communications efforts
• Proven ability to deliver actionable project reports

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
• 1+ yr. experience supporting Texas state government agencies.
