Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Denodo Data Virtualization Developer to design, develop, and maintain data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, data integration, and virtualization technologies to enable seamless access to diverse data sources and support analytics initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience with 12+ Minimum Experience.
- 8+ years of experience in SQL development and data integration.
- Hands-on experience with Denodo Platform (version 8 or later preferred).
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Expertise in data modeling and virtualization concepts.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing principles.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data virtualization solutions utilizing Denodo Platform (v8 or later).
- Develop complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including relational databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Optimize query performance, troubleshoot data-related issues, and ensure efficient data access.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all virtualized data layers.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, mappings, and processes.
- Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Denodo environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud data platforms and APIs.
- Certifications related to Denodo or data architecture.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and automation.
