Network Security Engineer / Checkpoint

This local healthcare provider is looking for a Network Security Engineer who can focus on firewall and policy. It's a classic net sec role - lots of SDWAN and firewalls, IDS/IPS, threat protections, and Cisco ISE. It's a great opportunity to gain strong experience in engineering firewalls (beyond monitoring ). This is a full-time position that is hybrid for the first few months of acclimation to the role, then has remote flexibility. Office located in Bethlehem PA, so only local candidates will be considered.

Ideal candidates will have multiple years of network security experience. Specific skills in Cisco ISE and Checkpoint would be very highly valued. Experience with network and firewall engineering is required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in network security
• Skills in Cisco ISE and Checkpoint
• Experience with network and firewall engineering
• Defensive security experience (vulnerability management, email security, etc)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Any relevant security certifications
