Neos is seeking a Technical Data Governance Lead for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.

Work Environment:

  • The position is hybrid, with on-site work expected 2 days a week.

Position Overview: Data Governance Lead (Technical Focus)

  • The team is seeking a Data Governance Lead to support the implementation of a data catalog and serve as a technical leader in the rollout of the data governance program.
  • This role will require someone who not only understands governance from a business perspective but also has deep technical expertise not just a project management background.
  • Candidates should ideally bring experience as a business subject matter expert in data and analytics, with hands-on involvement in building and leading governance solutions.

Ideal Technical Skills & Tools:

  • Experience with AI development
  • Hands-on with PySpark, Python, SQL
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and Azure
