Job Details

This leading health care performance improvement company supports over half of the nation's acute care providers and nearly all academic medical centers, offering expertise, analytics, and advisory services to help organizations enhance cost, quality, and overall performance across the health care landscape.

They are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer focused on the Azure platform to handle cloud optimization, scale containers, enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and expand CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, Pulumi (preferred) or Terraform, Artifactory, Octopus or Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and experience with C# or PowerShell.

This is a 6-12 month contract-to-hire position paying approximately $75-85/hr, with a hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday through Thursday and remote on Monday and Friday, based out of their Irving office.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or related roles
  • Strong Azure cloud experience
  • Coding background in Java, C#, or Python; able to read PowerShell (preferred), TypeScript, or Python
  • Experience with Octopus, Jenkins, Databricks (Azure preferred), SOA, and cloud services
  • Hands-on with IaC tools like Pulumi (preferred), Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Windows Server and/or Linux experience
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Deep PowerShell or scripting experience
  • Azure or cloud-related certifications
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies and system engineering
What You'll Be Doing
  • Design, manage, and automate multi-cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
  • Set up Azure CI/CD, integrate tools like Octopus, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Pulumi
  • Collaborate with developers, IT, and security teams to enhance automation and security
  • Monitor Azure deployments, support code releases, and troubleshoot issues
  • Stay updated on tech trends to drive innovation and best practices
