In this role you will:

A Quality Assurance Engineer at Actabl conducts and performs standardized testing designed to find flaws before they become larger issues. Assists in troubleshooting processes and verifies that implemented fixes have intended results. Creates logs and tracking systems to document testing results.

Typical Functions:

• Develops and maintains test case scenarios including automated and regression testing.
• Provides reports containing results of testing procedures.
• Updates and maintains documentation regarding quality assurance testing policies and procedures.
• Other duties or functions may be assigned

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in QA- integrations.
• Experience in test work items that are assigned to you and enable releasing hotfix and major releases with utmost quality standards in a timely manner
• Creating and executing test strategies with appropriate context from leadership, but minimal day-to-day involvement
• Finding bugs in the testing environment before the code is released to production
• Continuous improvement in the existing test coverage by seeking candidates to build new test cases from items being developed in sprints
• Create test cases for hotfix issues and customer complaints
• Constantly scour the application looking for gaps in the current testing coverage.
• Keeping test cases up to date due to product changes/updates/enhancements.
• Demonstrate an understanding of work items/issues when they are discussed and know when to ask clarifying (concise and well framed) questions to further your understanding.
• Document precise replication steps for identified bugs and collaborate with the developers to identify the root cause.
• Strong communication skills with product owners and developers about issues and questions about work items.
• You are extremely reliable and get work completed in a timely manner with correct prioritization
• Provide proactive and reliable communication to your supervisor regarding work-related issues, absences from work, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate ideas and questions between end users and engineers.
• Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience working with JIRA, XRAY, or any other test case management tool
• Experience in working with various teams (DevOps, Customer Success, QA, Level 1 Support ) for issue resolution.
• Strong knowledge of web standards.
• Good understanding of API's.
• Ability to read and write scripts.
• Solid communication, listening, and English writing skills.
• Ability to problem solve and resolve issues independently and quickly.
• Detail orientation and analytical mindset.
• Team contribution skills and a desire to teach others.
• Organization skills and proven reliability: ability to work independently with little direction when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of BDD, Selenium, Java and Cypress
• Experience in both manual and automated testing
