The Opportunity

Building on top of the data layer, the team is responsible for delivering a rationalized set of core services. We are starting with foundational elements such as Identity, Profile, Segmentation, and edge components for real-time data capture and decisioning, and lay the foundation for higher-level services required for our Experience Business vision. We will run and maintain high traffic, high visibility applications with immense amounts of data and solve challenging scaling problems.

What you'll Do

  • Integrate and improve Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities.
  • Develop and deploy critical parts of the services and deliver to production.
  • Articulate the choice towards an accurate tool, technology.
  • Translate high level requirements to meaningful tasks/actions.
  • Work well in a dynamic, fast paced team.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of industry software development experience
  • Hands-on experience on open source technologies Spark, Hadoop Stack, Kafka
  • Proven record of delivering highly optimized code in Scala/Java
  • Proven experience on working with NoSQL databases, preferably HBase and Cassandra
  • Proficiency in data structures, algorithms
  • Additional experience that will be a plus
  • Experience with Containers, CI/CD systems like Argo CD, Git Ops
  • Experience with other big data tech stacks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $154,000 -- $278,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
