Job Details

Resource 1 is seeking a Sr. Product Owner specializing in BlueYonder Supply Chain Planning and Optimization (SCPO) solutions with a focus on Demand Planning modules for a 6+ month remote contract opportunity. The selected individual will play a pivotal role in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap of the BlueYonder platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with business and technology stakeholders to drive Product strategy and prioritization decisions for our BlueYonder portfolio of Supply Chain Planning and Optimization (SCPO) solutions.
  • Leverage expertise in BlueYonder solutions to drive innovation and optimization for supply chain products and services.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle, including prioritizing features, defining user stories, and working closely with development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on features and functionalities to continuously optimize the product and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience with the BlueYonder Supply Chain Planning and Optimization (SCPO) solutions with a focus on Demand Planning modules as a functional consultant, solution architect, or technical lead.
  • Experience in supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and product management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile or SAFe certification(s) highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change within large, complex organizations.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Atlassian) and flowchart tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid Chart) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with databases (e.g., Oracle) and working with large datasets and prior experience/understanding of coding techniques utilized with SCPO.
  • Detailed understanding of demand planning processes in a retail or food industry and an overall understanding of supply chain planning processes
  • Understanding of the latest best practices, such as applying AI/ML to improve planning process efficiency and accuracy.
