Job Details
Title: Senior Cost Estimator
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Full-time
Salary Range: 150K-170K
Day-to-day:
- Develop midstream and facility type estimates for both oil and gas, ranging from billion-dollar capital projects to smaller field engineering scopes.
- Prepare all levels of estimates ranging in price and complexity from a simple factored or curve-type, screening estimate to a detailed scope, AFE-quality estimate.
- Research and utilize historical costs to help estimate conceptual projects.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of various estimating tools and databases.
Must-haves:
- Minimum 10 years' experience with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator.
- Extremely proficient in Excel, performing XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP, etc.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of total estimating and/or project experience is required.
- Working knowledge of midstream energy industry facilities including pipelines (gas, liquids, and natural gas liquids), pump and compressor stations, gas and liquid measurement facilities, above and below ground storage, liquid terminals, gas processing facilities and natural gas liquids fractionation is desired.
