Location :400 North Street, 5th Floor, Harrisburg, PA

This position is for a highly experienced .NET / Angular Developer to support the redevelopment of the The application is being migrated from Ruby on Rails to a modern technology stack using .NET Core, Angular, and Azure cloud services. The developer will collaborate with technical leadership to build new features, rewrite existing components, and ensure accessibility compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, document, and implement system features

  • Work under direction of Technical Lead & Application Architect

  • Rewrite & enhance application in .NET and Angular

  • Implement integrations using APIs & cloud services

  • Ensure digital accessibility & compliance (WCAG/ADA/508)

Required Technical Skills (8+ Years)

  • Backend: .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Core

  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular (14+)

  • Database: PostgreSQL / PostGIS

  • API & Integration: REST, Microservices

  • ORM: Entity Framework, Dapper

  • Testing: XUnit, NUnit (Prefer: Jasmine, Karma)

  • GIS: Esri ArcGIS

  • Cloud (Azure):

    • Azure Functions, Azure Queue, Azure Storage

    • Azure Container Registry, Key Vault

  • Dev Tools: Visual Studio 2022, VS Code, Azure DevOps / Git

Required Knowledge

  • Responsive / mobile-first design

  • Design patterns & SOLID principles

  • Digital Accessibility & Disability inclusion

  • ADA, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements

  • Accessibility optimization for HTML / iOS / Android

  • WAI-ARIA Guidelines
