Location Requirement: If the Vendor is headquartered in Texas, this position is eligible for telecommuting from within the Continental United States. Conversely, if the Vendor is not headquartered in Texas, this position is eligible for telecommuting from within Texas only.
If applicable, the work location will be at 101 E. 15th Street, Austin, Texas 78778.
The Worker(s) will provide the following services: Perform advanced Test Manager work as a member of IT Project Management Office (PMO). Perform highly advanced analysis and testing tasks related to software development. Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients. Define and review the User Acceptance Testing strategy specific to TWC UAT scope (guidance to team for UCFs as well), and resources and Subject Matter Experts (SME)testing to be aligned. Coordinate on each UCF with business SMEs. Review of UAT Test Cases received from Vendor with SMEs. Work with business users and SMEs to create and update test cases and execute testing. Act as the main point of contact between IT, business users, and the development team. Leading triages, tracking, prioritizing, and managing defects. Providing and reviewing updates on UAT progress and results. Provide project status updates, progress on defects, and check progress on requirement traceability and coverage. Ensure exit criteria are met and obtaining final sign-off from the business. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
Required Skills:
- Creating and executing system test plans
- Performance Testing
- Performance monitoring tools (eg; JProfiler, JMeter)
- Test tools (JUnit, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, etc.)
- Unit testing tools and frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, etc)
- Experience and understanding of the full software life-cycle with specific emphasis on the testing discipline
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills)
- Manage, perform, monitor, and report on test activities
- Oversee user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, and data conversion testing
- Review, update and create test strategy, suites, and scripts
- Document and report test results and problem incident reports (PIRs)/defect status
- Coordinate scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings
- Provide training and mentoring of testing team members

- Testing management experience in UI with commercial software including Sagitec s Neosurance
