Position: Drupal Developer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite from day 1)
Consultant(s) needed for the Letter of Engagement: CalPERS will evaluate the qualifications of the proposed team as a whole for scoring purposes.
CalPERS is seeking one vendor to move forward with the evaluation process. The vendor may propose a team of (2) two consultants, but the evaluation will emphasize the combined expertise, experience, and capacity of the team to successfully complete the deliverables outlined in the Letter of Engagement.
Project Scope/Tasks
The scope of this project encompasses the following deliverable-based tasks, all of which must be completed within a 12-month term.
Deliverable 1: Operational and Development Support
Provide development support and assist with tasks for reported defects and requested enhancements including those related to Drupal, Acquia CMS, Acquia, and AWS CloudFront/ WAF for WSS.
Provide support for Drupal and Acquia core, module, and security updates and/or releases in a collaborative peer programming/support model.
Provide documentation related to operational and development support.
Deliverable 2: Accessibility Support
Provide support and guidance to the CalPERS Team for remediation of accessibility defects and implementation of accessibility enhancements.
Deliverable 3: Enhancement of CMS
Create an initial roadmap for future extensions of the CMS to create automated content updates (e.g., automated lists of board meeting agendas, news articles, and data tables - Circular Letters).
Provide development support with integration and migration of custom web applications currently displayed on the CalPERS Website for WSS.
Provide documentation related to enhancements of the CMS.
Deliverable 4: Knowledge Transfer
Conduct on-going knowledge transfer sessions with WSS team.
Deliverable 5: Documentation
Create user guides and desk manuals for those with draft viewing, editing and approving permissions in the CMS and Drupal.
