Remote - Immediate interviews for PostgreSQL DBA - 12 months contract
Key Responsibilities:
PostgreSQL:
Install, configure, and administer PostgreSQL databases, including extensions and user management.
Perform re-domaining of databases (e.g., migrating from companyabc.com to companyxyz.com).
Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies.
Optimize database performance through query tuning.
Lead AWS migration efforts from on-prem PostgreSQL environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in database administration with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
Proven experience in cloud migration, especially to AWS.
Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
