Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance to lead enterprise-level data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams, driving end-to-end project delivery, and implementing MDM and governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage MDM and Data Governance projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Stewards, Business Analysts, and IT teams to define and execute data management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management documentation.
  • Oversee the implementation of MDM platforms (such as Informatica, Reltio, SAP MDG, or similar) and data governance tools.
  • Establish data quality metrics, policies, and standards, ensuring data integrity and compliance across systems.
  • Drive stakeholder communication and manage executive reporting on project status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure integration of MDM with key business systems (ERP, CRM, BI platforms, etc.).
  • Lead change management efforts to promote data governance culture across the organization.
  • Track project deliverables against goals and ensure adherence to PMO and governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Project/Program Management roles.
  • Hands-on experience leading MDM and Data Governance initiatives in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, data modeling, and metadata management.
  • Experience with Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
