Title : Device Test Engineer
Location : Greenwood Village CO
Roles and Responsibilities :
A quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched.
They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them.
They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement.
A normal work day for a quality assurance engineer includes developing new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program.
Once the defect has been patched, they will need to run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected. 10+ years of experience.
Primary Responsibilities/Tasks of Device Test Engineer :
Min 5+ yrs of Experience with different Cellular/Mobile Devices based on iOS operating systems
Strong knowledge of 3GPP 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE mobile technologies and architecture.
Good understanding of 3GPP standards ; signaling call flows, Layers 1/2/3
Develop and execute device test plans, and validate Mobile device cellular feature capabilities 5G, VoNR, VoLTE, VoWiFi, LTE)
Experience with different cellular modem chipsets - Qualcomm (QCOM), MediaTek (MTK), Samsung (LSI), etc
Experience with modem logging/analysis tools such as QXDM, QPST, XCAL, XCAP
Familiarity with SIM / eSIM design and provisioning flows
Experience in testing Wi-Fi and Passpoint configurations (HS2.0/802.1x/WPA3)
Analyze, determine, and document issues; Communicate testing progress / technical reports
Basic programming skills, especially on Python
Is Proactive and works independently with minimal supervision
