Location: Oahu, HI

What Will You Be Doing?

The Senior Network Engineer will perform the following activities:

• Work in a large enterprise environment
• Support Cisco route and switch solutions large network environment
• Transformation of existing infrastructure into modern solutions
• Configure, deploy and troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions.
• Drives problem resolution for issues experienced in the environment.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents related to Cisco products, services, or solutions.
• Provides answers for products, services, or solutions questions.
• Creates or updates, and delivers problem resolution, project collateral and/or knowledge transfer.
• Assists in documenting and resolving technical problems found in products and solutions.
• Engages and drives appropriate resources for escalations.
• Maintains accurate documentation in incident and knowledge management systems.
• Ensures case management guidelines are followed.
• Effectively communicates (verbal and written) with the customer and Cisco stakeholders on status and progress of service requests
• Must be able to lead, articulate vision, and influence the design, deployment, and analysis of complex networks

Education and Experience Requirements

• 5+ years demonstrated experience route switch environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, ability to work in a team and work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Required Certifications

• Computing environment certification
• CCIE Required

Clearance Requirements

• Secret

Travel Requirements

• 25% OCONUS and CONUS
