Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Python, Angular, AWS)
Location: Mclean, VA, Richmond, VA, or Plano, TX
Duration : 6 Months
Employment Type: Contract (W2)
Overview:
We re seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Python, Angular, and AWS to support two high-impact internal applications for a leading financial services client. This role requires a solid balance of front-end and back-end development, with a slight lean toward back-end work (flexible 50/50 to 30/70 split).
Project Work:
- 1st Project (40%):
Internal-facing platform for tracking application dependencies, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure. Currently building out features related to customer journey automation. - 2nd Project (60%):
Advanced monitoring platform that integrates with various data sources (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, APIs, OneLake, Snowflake). Allows custom alert creation and delivery via email, Slack, or PagerDuty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable front-end features using Angular 17 and Cytoscape
- Build robust back-end services with Python
- Design and deploy serverless components and containerized services using AWS (Lambdas, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, OpenSearch)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in agile development and virtual interviews
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and modern Angular (v17+)
- Strong AWS experience, specifically with Lambda, ECS (containers & clusters), DynamoDB, and related tooling (S3, CloudWatch, OpenSearch)
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Cytoscape is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
