Experience and Education:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Arts or equivalent experience/field
- Experience leading frontend development in a product-scale React environment
- Proven ability to architect large web applications with thoughtful design patterns
- Background mentoring or coaching other engineers in delivery-focused teams
- Experience driving release cadence and quality across distributed teams
- Exposure to modern CI/CD practices and collaboration with QA, Product, and UX

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of frontend engineers, promoting growth and accountability
- Guide architectural direction to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Write and review production-quality React code to set engineering standards
- Oversee sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery reliability
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to align on goals and execution
- Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
- Partner with QA and DevOps to streamline CI/CD and improve release consistency
- Identify and address technical debt or delivery risks proactively
- Drive adoption of modern frontend tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across time zones
- Ensure design consistency and a seamless user experience across the platform
- Promote continuous improvement in process, tooling, and team performance
- Serve as a key liaison between engineering leadership and project stakeholders
- Champion product usability and reliability throughout development and delivery
