Process Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cupertino, CA that is seeking a Process Technician who provides multi-disciplinary expertise in the maintenance, trouble shooting, calibration and repair of a wide variety of complex state-of-the-art deposition and vacuum automation equipment. This role will work with little supervision in a commercial/light industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
* Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, to diagnose root cause, and to make reliable improvement recommendations
* Implement equipment improvements through documentation
* Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians, communicating effectively for continuous improvement of process & procedures
* Create and update preventive maintenance procedures and schedules
* Participate in setting up and maintaining spare parts inventory system as well as other systems as it pertains to maintenance
* Coordinate installation and characterization of new equipment and processes as well as writing specifications/procedures, performing projects and other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
