- Partner with development and operations teams to ensure high availability and optimal performance of store-facing systems, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Design and implement automation solutions using technologies such as .NET, Java, and PowerShell for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and performance optimization.
- Administer and streamline system configurations using tools like Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Docker, and Intune.
- Support and maintain technical environments and retail hardware systems, ensuring consistent and reliable operations.
- Oversee enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM), ensuring secure and efficient deployment and lifecycle management of mobile devices across the network.
- Respond to system incidents with urgency, applying sound technical solutions to restore service and mitigate future risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and promote best practices in software development, deployment, and reliability engineering.
- Conduct performance analysis and system optimization to improve scalability, resource utilization, and infrastructure efficiency.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively track system health, identify trends, and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure support.
- Strong background in automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git/GitHub), and infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and network security protocols.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience managing enterprise MDM solutions and retail hardware systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
