Job Summary
The Senior Director of Project Portfolio Management is responsible for overseeing and strategically managing Quility's project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The overall objective of this position is to ensure that mission-driven projects are executed within an established timeframe and budget, utilizing established project management practices. This role involves evaluating, prioritizing, and optimizing projects to maximize value and efficiency. The Senior Director of Project Portfolio Management coordinates resources, manages risks, and tracks performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but may lead cross-functional initiatives or project teams.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages a portfolio of projects with responsibility to monitor for optimal performance against targets, deliverables, and budgets.
- Identifies required resources for project and implementation teams, including making recommendations for project staffing models.
- Conducts risk assessments and helps develop mitigation strategies.
- Develops, implements, and monitors the implementation of course corrections and adjustments for specific projects.
- Ensures consistency in the portfolio for all phases of projects from scoping to retrospectives and directs use of standard project management tools and resources.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with team members and other staff.
- Leads a project management team to effectively address project requirements.
- Assists project sponsors and champions to sustain project results.
- Partner closely with the Product Office by incorporating recurring updates from Scrum Team leadership (via Jillian) on project impacts identified during sprint reviews.
- Provides ongoing documentation and status reports of progress on program and portfolio development.
- Effectively manages portfolio roadmaps.
- Engages with and conducts periodic reviews with executive leadership to validate and assess the project portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required.
