Job Details
Job Title: Sr. Adobe Engineer / Analytics Developer
Role Summary:
The Sr. Adobe Engineer / Analytics Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing web and digital analytics solutions using Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Tealium iQ Tag Management, and Adobe Web SDK. The role involves end-to-end implementation of tag management strategies, analytics tracking, and data governance to support digital marketing, reporting, and optimization initiatives.
Required Skillset & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Adobe Analytics implementation and digital analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Launch, Adobe Web SDK, and Tealium iQ.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and DOM manipulation for tag deployment.
- Experience with digital marketing analytics, conversion tracking, and campaign measurement.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve client-side and server-side data collection issues.
- Knowledge of A/B testing, personalization, and marketing automation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Adobe Launch tag management solutions across websites and applications.
- Configure and deploy Adobe Web SDK for data collection, integration with Adobe Experience Cloud, and analytics tracking.
- Implement and maintain Tealium iQ tag management solutions as required.
- Develop, test, and maintain Adobe Analytics tracking, including eVars, props, events, and custom variables.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to define analytics requirements.
- Conduct audits of existing analytics implementations and recommend improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to analytics tracking and tag management.
- Monitor data collection quality, validate implementation, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Configure and maintain report suites, segments, calculated metrics, and dashboards in Adobe Analytics.
- Collaborate with developers to implement client-side and server-side tagging strategies.
- Implement A/B testing and personalization tracking using Adobe Target (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations in analytics tracking.
- Provide guidance on analytics best practices, tagging strategies, and campaign tracking.
- Prepare documentation of implementations, tag plans, and configuration guides.
