Job Details

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Jira Developer to support and enhance enterprise-level Jira environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jira administration, customization, and integration with other systems, along with the ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams to streamline workflows and improve process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Jira workflows, custom fields, dashboards, filters, and reports.
  • Administer Jira projects, permissions, notifications, and automation rules.
  • Integrate Jira with Confluence, ServiceNow, Slack, and other enterprise tools as required.
  • Develop and manage Jira scripts (using ScriptRunner or similar tools) for automation and customization.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and translate them into Jira configurations.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation for Jira and related tools.
  • Maintain data integrity, governance, and security standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Jira Developer or Administrator in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in Jira automation, ScriptRunner, Groovy scripting, and REST API integrations.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps toolchains.
  • Experience configuring custom workflows, issue types, and field schemes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Jira Data Center or Cloud-to-Server migrations.
  • Familiarity with Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, or CI/CD integrations.
  • Atlassian Certification (ACP-100, ACP-120, or similar).
