Position: Azure Databricks Engineer
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex geospatial data sets to extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial analytics into broader business processes.
- Develop and maintain geospatial models using Databricks and Azure Data Work to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide technical expertise in geospatial analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data outputs.
- Design and implement geospatial data workflows that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of data processing.
- Conduct thorough data validation and quality checks to ensure integrity of geospatial data.
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate geospatial insights to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and methodologies.
- Support the development of geospatial data governance policies and best practices.
- Lead initiatives to improve geospatial data accessibility and usability across the organization.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance team members understanding of geospatial tools and techniques.
- Contribute to the companys purpose by providing insights that impact societal development and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all geospatial data activities.
Qualifications:
- Possess a strong background in geospatial analysis with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Databricks and Azure Data Work for geospatial data processing.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality data insights.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new geospatial technologies.
- Display strong communication skills to effectively convey complex geospatial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold a relevant degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field.
