Job Title: Genesys Architect
Location: Raritan, New Jersey (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Genesys Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Genesys platforms, a proactive mindset for continuous improvement, and the ability to seamlessly integrate solutions across diverse system landscapes ensuring superior customer engagement and operational performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design: Develop scalable and high-performance Genesys solution architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements
  • Implementation: Lead deployment efforts including installation, configuration, and customization of Genesys components (e.g., Framework, SIP Server, Media Server)
  • Integration: Ensure seamless interoperability with third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and middleware technologies
  • Optimization: Perform system health checks, tune performance, and ensure high availability and reliability of Genesys services
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor development teams and junior architects, promoting best practices and architectural standards
  • Documentation: Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical guides, deployment documents, and best practice frameworks
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as an escalation point for advanced support issues and drive rapid root cause resolution
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay current on Genesys trends, emerging technologies, and contribute to roadmap enhancement recommendations


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7 9 years of hands-on experience with Genesys contact center solutions
  • Deep expertise in Genesys Framework, SIP Server, Media Server, and platform components
  • Strong scripting/programming knowledge in Java, C#, or Python
  • Experience in building integrations with RESTful/SOAP APIs and enterprise middleware solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Genesys certification (e.g., Genesys Certified Professional)
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments or hybrid contact center environments
  • Background in voice, chat, IVR, omnichannel routing, or AI-powered customer engagement solutions
