Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Beaverton, OR (97005) / Hybrid
Employment Type: 12+ Month W2 Contract (No C2C or sponsorship)
Role Overview
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and managing the execution of complex technical programs across cross-functional teams. This role requires strong leadership in aligning stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of program objectives. The TPM will play an important role in fostering innovation, operational excellence, and customer-focused results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of technical programs while ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and operations teams to define scope, milestones, and success metrics
- Drive program planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple teams and geographies
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve cross-functional challenges, and ensure timely delivery of objectives
- Promote Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices
- Develop and maintain program documentation, dashboards, and executive-level reports
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership through steering committees and governance forums
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships as needed
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other program metrics
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or engineering leadership
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Technical knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, and data platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft ecosystem tools including Azure DevOps, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, and Office 365
- Strong skills in risk management, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications are strongly preferred
