RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Data Analyst in North Reading, MA.
Summary:
This is an opportunity to be involved in a top-of-mind topic in the global supply chain workspace. A rare opportunity to be a part of the ever-changing landscape with all the new tariffs in place. This is an interesting role for someone looking to be on the ground floor in creating information in real-time.
Responsibilities:
* Data Analyst will support effective decision-making through financial and market analysis of critical issues, including hardware price and cost modeling, and scenario planning
* Execute detailed project plan timelines, operational reporting and conduct ad-hoc business analyses for leadership communication
* Develop evaluation frameworks for product cost improvement initiatives
* As a Data Analyst, you will design and coordinate the development of systems and tools to keep pace with the group's growing and rapidly changing businesses
REQUIREMENTS:
* Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; A graduate level degree is nice-to-have but not required if the candidate has over 3 years of closely related experience or 5 years overall experience
* Cost Calculation/Hardware knowledge
* Fluency in standard software including MS Excel; Knowledge of SQL is a strong plus
* Strong analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
* Successful characteristics for the position are the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment
* Direct experience in operations or capacity planning a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
