Product Owner- Contact Center

Ideal Candidate
This candidate will have previous Product Owner experience running an agile team with all applicable ceremonies. This person would be working from a product perspective on developing Contact Center tools such as IVR/IVA s and agent desktops. The PO position would be responsible for setting the priorities of what the agile teams will work on in each sprint and ensuring that the development team is successful. The teams work very closely together and have a great repour. Looking forward to someone that brings great energy to the team!
The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Product Owner who will oversee the product backlog of existing and future features; fully driving all associated SDLC activities. This high impact role is the primary person responsible for identifying, quantifying, and communicating the product vision associated with their subject matter and ensuring that the voice of the customer is captured in relation to development through technology teams. The incumbent develops product release forecasts, product alignment, and resource forecasts. By using an Agile approach, they understand and communicate market research, competitive analysis, and partner to create comprehensive product direction that ensures strategic plans are focused on the highest value yield for Velera stakeholders and member owners. This position also involves developing and communicating product roadmaps to technology teams. The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter expert in their domain, a thought leader with a deep understanding of their product suite, someone skilled in synthesizing information and adept at facilitation and presentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related experience preferred.
- Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of Agile principles.
- Seven (7) years of product management and/or business analysis experience required.
- Experience with the financial, credit union industry and core or account processing required.
- Certification: CSPO, CSM, CAL, SAFe or other related Agile certifications preferred.
