Duration: 12+ Months contract.
Pay Rate Range: $25.92/hr. on W-2.

Summary: To perform work on customer sites across NASA working with the fellow Reverse Logistics team members. The Reverse Logistics team is responsible for returning new and used customer material from site back into inventory. The team receives requests from engineering groups within NetOps that complete deployments across the NASA region, this material translates into an ADR (Our Client's Decom Request) sheet listing the equipment that is required to be collected and brought safely back from sites to be sorted, refurbished, and redistributed per the direction of the customer. Daily activities: - Working on customer sites across NASA - Booking travel as required to support for upcoming field activity - Adhering to customer security and safety policies - Supporting the preparation of upcoming projects with research and feedback at team meetings prior to project start dates - Performing part identification and data input into inventory management and other customer systems - Performing product configuration and quality assurance checks and updating all quality assurance documentation as required - Safe removal of telecom equipment on customer sites - Safely packaging of customer equipment according to our packaging guidelines - Preparation of material for safe shipping and completion of handovers to courier teams - Auditing and recording relevant information on all items being collected from site - Attending and contributing to regular team meetings - Providing feedback of weekly activity on team meetings - Updating documentation and raising change requests for product configurations, attributes, and packaging allocations - During quieter periods contribution to ongoing projects will be required - Performing product refurbishment support - Creating and updating product configuration documentation - Serving as SME regarding part identification and customer's specified product configuration as well as reverse logistics processes. Key Responsibilities: - Adhering to customer security and safety policies - Submitting of weekly expense reports following company guidelines - Attend all customer team meetings as required - Adhere to all aspects of health and safety in warehouse including safe handling of ESD components - Adhere to all Commscope travel policies - Client confidentiality must be adhered to at all times - Other duties as assigned, management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate. This role will require Mon - Fri 40 hours per week Qualifications: 5 years experience working in the telecom field Practical understanding of inventory control and management systems Computer literate, intermediate level Google docs suite and MS Office365 applications Basic understanding of spreadsheets Comfortable and effective working without direct supervision Experience working with or strong knowledge of electronics/telecommunication hardware Experience working in a fast-paced, volatile environment Experience handling and resolving customer queries in Skills Excellent verbal and written communication in English Excellent personal organization and business administration skills Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timelines and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality Good team building and interpersonal skills |
