Job Details

Job Title: Systems Analyst Data Engineer
Location: Guadalupe St, Austin, TX
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; evenings/weekends/holidays as needed

Job Description:

  • Serve as a technical leader within an agile development team.

  • Acquire and integrate data from multiple data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, etc.).

  • Develop complex Oracle and/or Snowflake SQL scripts and materialized views.

  • Automate data pipelines using Informatica Power Center/IICS.

  • Participate in all agile ceremonies and contribute to Epics/User Stories/Tasks.

  • Perform integration, load, and stress testing.

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers on design and implementation strategies.

  • Create mockups, validate with stakeholders, and document technical designs/specs.

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Git Actions.

  • Develop code using Java, JavaScript, Python, and C#.

  • Serve as Mulesoft Developer and SAS Viya Administrator as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and handle PHI/PII appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or Business (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in healthcare and/or HHS agency projects

  • Experience handling PHI/PII and understanding data security principles

  • Familiarity with performance metrics, BI environments, REST/SOAP services

  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills

8 Required Experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center or IICS.
8 Required Experiencing acquiring and integrating data from multiple data sources/technologies using Informatica Power Center or IICS for use by a Tableau data visualization object. Data source techs should include Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access and Adobe PDF.
8 Required Experience designing and developing complex Oracle and/or Snowflake SQL scripts that are fast and efficient
8 Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
8 Required Technical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
8 Required Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
8 Required Experience designing and developing scripts using Python
8 Required Experience on an agile sprint team

4 Preferred Experience with state of the art software components for a performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence environment
4 Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.
2 Preferred Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
