Job Description
You will be the Field Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business at its Archbald, PA facility, conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements. Our team is responsible for providing technical support to customers, troubleshooting technical problems, and recommending solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Field Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting technical analysis, troubleshooting technical problems, and determining technical solutions. You will also conduct technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives, and act as a local on-site representative to the customer's organization. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, repairs and enhancements
Troubleshooting technical problems and determining technical solutions
Conducting technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives
Performing depot-level repairs, modifications, and refurbishments of customer equipment
Operating automated or general-purpose test equipment and using knowledge of basic electronic and optical theory
Utilizing precision measuring equipment to verify compliance to engineering specifications and tolerances
Working with hazardous materials and chemicals, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline, with emphasis in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience/combined education.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or modifying electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience developing formal test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired skills
-Experience working with Nuclear Instrumentation and Control equipment.
- Experience with the preparation and presentation of briefing material.
- Ability to facilitate and coordinate activities while maintaining schedule and cost.
- Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders to meet desired requirements and activities.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
