Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather requirements from stakeholders, clinicians, and patients.
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into clean, intuitive user experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Implement and maintain UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue a plus).
- Ensure designs are accessible and comply with relevant regulations (e.g., WCAG, HIPAA).
- Use analytics and usability testing to iterate and improve user experiences.
- Advocate for the user while balancing business and technical constraints.
- Document design guidelines and contribute to the design system.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design and UI development.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI projects, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Experience working on healthcare applications, EMRs/EHRs, telehealth platforms, or similar.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, WCAG).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with component-based front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Understanding of clinical workflows or medical terminology.
- Experience designing for mobile (iOS/Android) and responsive web apps.
- Background in Human-Centered Design or HCI.
- Knowledge of user testing methods and analytics tools.
