Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager / Tax Reviewer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and individual tax preparation and review, with expertise in C Corps, S Corps, Partnerships, and Individual Taxes. A CPA certification is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards.

  • Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources.

  • Work directly with clients to build and maintain relationships.

  • Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers.

  • Conduct tax research projects as needed.

  • Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status and opportunities.

  • Provide training, direction, and supervision to the tax team.

  • Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization.

  • Build and maintain client relationships, managing a book of business, including budgets and production goals.

  • Participate in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSBA in Accounting (or related field).

  • Active CPA Certification required.

  • Proven experience reviewing tax returns for C Corps, S Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120).

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work onsite 3 days a week in Wakefield, MA.
