Job Title: Technology Operations Director



Job Description:


The Technology Operations Director is a key figure in driving the integration of technology and business objectives within the banking sector. This role is instrumental in establishing and maintaining efficient IT operations to support the bank's systems, functions, and strategic initiatives.



This will be a direct hire position that will have a hybrid schedule in St. Paul, MN and will pay up to $195,000 annually + Bonus



Essential Functions:



  • Lead and manage the technology operations team, overseeing Application and Database Operations, to ensure alignment with the bank's mission and strategic goals.

  • Coordinate resources to provide dedicated support for Business Applications and Functions, ensuring they meet optimal functionality and align with business requirements.

  • Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Establish and enforce IT policies and standards to maintain operational excellence and compliance.

  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with Business Stakeholders to effectively manage vendors and external partners.

  • Implement clear support structures, escalation protocols, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure seamless operation of Business Applications and Functions.

  • Oversee IT Project Management, Business Analysis, and Quality Assurance, ensuring cohesive collaboration to support all IT initiatives.

  • Participate in the Business Continuity Management program, overseeing the formulation and execution of the IT Disaster Recovery plan and testing.

  • Develop measurable performance indicators, metrics, and reports to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement.



Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Directly supervise IT Operations, Project Management, and Business Analysts/QA staff.

  • Responsible for hiring, performance management, and professional development of team members.



Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management required, preferably within the financial industry.

  • Experience with banking systems, such as Fiserv, is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, ethical conduct, and entrepreneurial mindset are essential for success in this role.
