Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $70.00 USD Hourly
Description:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, including object-oriented design and multi-threaded programming.
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL).
- Experience with Spring Boot framework and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience with distributed messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
- Familiarity with industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
- Experience building scalable, cloud-native applications.
- Proficiency in development tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Ant.
- Experience with unit testing and coverage tools (e.g., JUnit).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy microservices on cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues using tools like Grafana and Dynatrace.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
