Job Description:
Pay Range: $35.07hr - $40.07hr
  • The Facilities Technician will assist facility management with daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workplace functionality.
  • This role involves maintaining and repairing building equipment, performing preventative maintenance, managing purchase requisitions and invoices, and supporting conference room setups, internal moves, and facility projects.
  • The Facilities Technician will also play a key role in calibration coordination and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist facility management with daily operations according to company policies and client needs.
  • Maintain and repair office furniture and building equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot central systems, including HVAC.
  • Manage purchase requisitions and invoice approvals.
  • Set up and break down conference rooms, including AV and catering support.
  • Handle internal moves, furniture reconfiguration, and facility-related projects.
  • Monitor and maintain restrooms, pantries, and office desks.
  • Support the calibration program, including tool check-in/out, work orders in Maximo, and coordination with service providers.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
  • Collaborate with the facility manager and team on various projects.
  • Utilize the ticketing system and communicate issues clearly and promptly.
Experience:
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
  • Facilities maintenance and support.
  • Calibration coordination (Metrology).
  • Purchase requisition and invoice processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (training provided).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and repair abilities.
  • Experience using ticketing systems.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working in a regulated industry.
  • Background in facilities operations.
  • Experience with calibration data gathering and coordination.
